DESCRIPTION

The 66F045 is a subminiature bimetallic disc thermostat from the Airpax 6600 series designed for accurate temperature sensing and switching in a single device. It features a positive snap action, single pole/single throw configuration housed in an 8-pin DIP package with gold-plated contacts and is RoHS compliant per EU directive 2002/95/EC. The thermostat operates over a temperature range of 40°C to 130°C with a standard temperature tolerance of ±5°C, achieving up to 30,000 life cycles at 120 VAC (1.0 A) or up to 100,000 life cycles at 5 VDC with gold contacts. Its compact size and sealed epoxy construction make it ideal for surface and air sensing applications on crowded printed circuit boards, and it is suitable for use in computers, aircraft, automotive systems, and test equipment where reliable temperature-based switching is required.
