DESCRIPTION

The IEG6-1-72-40.0-01-V is a 6-pole hydraulic magnetic circuit protector designed for international equipment requiring IEC 601 and 950 compliance, as well as VDE 0804 and 0805 specifications. This unit features a 50/60 Hz long delay (Type 72) protection characteristic with a rated current of 40.0 A and is configured with screw terminals and a black toggle handle marked with ON-OFF indicators. The device provides reliable circuit protection and accurate circuit control with pulse tolerance of approximately 10 times rated current, delivering trip times ranging from 1.8 to 100 seconds at 125% rated current down to 0.006 to 0.28 seconds at 1000% rated current. It is UL Recognized as a supplementary protector per UL STD. 1077 and CSA Certified, making it suitable for power switching and circuit protection in international industrial and commercial applications.
