DESCRIPTION

The LA13-12-000A is a frameless cylindrical voice coil actuator (VCA) designed for precision linear motion in integrated systems. This actuator delivers a peak force of 15.5 N (3.50 lb) with a total stroke of 6.36 mm (0.25 in) and a continuous stall force of 7.12 N (1.60 lb), providing reliable performance across billions of cycles. The actuator features an outside diameter of 31.6 mm (1.25 in), a length at mid-stroke of 28.5 mm (1.13 in), and an actuator constant of 2.36 N/watt (0.53 lb/watt). Constructed with high-energy rare earth magnets and offering zero backlash, cog-free operation, the LA13-12-000A is ideal for applications requiring accurate, direct-drive motion such as precision positioning, medical devices, and industrial automation systems.
