The LAH04-10-000A is a fully housed cylindrical linear voice coil actuator (VCA) designed for precision motion control applications requiring direct-drive actuation. It delivers a peak force of 1.89 N (0.42 lb) with a total stroke of 4.00 mm (0.16 in) and a continuous stall force of 1.11 N (0.25 lb), providing an actuator constant of 0.84 N/vwatt. The device features a compact outside diameter of 10.1 mm (0.40 in) and a length of 25.4 mm (1.00 in) at mid-stroke, with self-aligning bushings, a protective internal flex circuit, and axial travel limits on both ends. The housing provides additional mechanical and environmental protection while enabling single-unit integration without requiring external alignment systems. This actuator is life-tested to exceed 500 million cycles and offers inherent advantages of VCA technology including zero backlash, cog-free operation, high acceleration, and single-phase operation, making it ideal for precision positioning, medical devices, and automated control systems.
