DESCRIPTION

The MK15-B-2 is a magnetically operated reed proximity switch featuring flat, bent SMD leads for surface mounting. It has a magnetic sensitivity class 'B', corresponding to a pull-in range of 10-15 Ampere-Turns (AT). This switch is rated for a maximum switching power of 10 W, a switching voltage of 200 V, and a switching current of 0.5 A. Housed in a compact 19.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 mm package, it operates over a wide temperature range from -40°C to +130°C. Common applications include telecommunication hook switches, microphone switching elements, and other space-constrained electronic PCBs where components are surface-mounted.
