DESCRIPTION

ASE22RL is a right-angle surface mount slide switch featuring a DPDT (double-pole double-throw) configuration with silver contacts and extended side actuator. The switch is designed for surface mount "L" type terminal configuration and offers bifurcated double wipe contacts for dependable, telecom-grade switching performance. It features an actuation force of 0.850g ± 150g, contact travel of 0.100 ± 0.010 inches (2.54 ± 0.25 mm), and initial contact resistance of 0.40 milliohms maximum. The switch is rated for 300 mA at 115 VAC or 28 VDC with silver contacts, provides 1,000 megohms minimum insulation resistance at 500 VDC, and withstands 1,000 volts RMS dielectric strength at sea level. With a life expectancy of 10,000 cycles and high-temperature anti-static plastic construction, the ASE22RL is ideal for applications requiring reliable switching in harsh environments, including telecommunications, industrial control, and consumer electronics where aqueous or solvent cleaning processes are employed.
