DESCRIPTION

HSC2001K2J is a 200W aluminium housed wire wound power resistor from the TE Connectivity HS Series, designed for high power dissipation in a compact form factor. This resistor features a 1.2kO resistance value with 5% tolerance (J), a maximum working voltage of 1900V DC/ACrms, and dielectric strength of 5600V AC peak. The HSC200 model offers 200W dissipation with heatsink at 25°C (50W without heatsink), with stability of 3% resistance change over 1000 hours. With its flange two sides (C) mounting style, 6 mounting holes, and insulation resistance of 10,000MO minimum (dry), this resistor is ideal for braking, balancing, capacitor charging/discharging, crowbar, and filter applications in power supplies and electrical machinery.
