DESCRIPTION

The 1062-20-0177 is a socket terminal from DEUTSCH designed for automotive connectivity applications, accommodating 22–16 AWG wire (.35–1.5 mm²) with a 1 mm pin diameter and tin (Sn) interface plating. This stamped and formed contact features an F-crimp termination method, receptacle style 180° orientation, and integrated housing locking with family seal or unsealed options. It is rated for a typical current of 7.5 A and operates across a temperature range of -55 °C to +125 °C, with compatible insulation diameter range of 1.9–3.2 mm. The terminal is partially insulated, compatible with copper wire base material, and complies with EU RoHS, ELV, and REACH regulations. Common applications include automotive electrical harnesses, power distribution systems, and connector assemblies where reliable crimped connections and environmental sealing are required.
