DESCRIPTION

The DT04-2P-E005 is a 2-position, environmentally sealed receptacle connector designed for rugged cable-to-cable applications in harsh environments. It accepts two size 16 contacts, each rated for 13 amps of continuous capacity. Constructed with a glass-filled thermoplastic shell and silicone seals, it provides an IP68 rating against moisture and dust ingress. The E005 modification specifies a black connector body and an integrated protective end cap on the rear. This connector operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, making it suitable for demanding applications on engines, transmissions, chassis, or in the cab.
