DESCRIPTION
The DT06-4S-CE13 is a 4-way sealed plug connector from TE Connectivity's DEUTSCH DT series, designed for reliable performance in harsh industrial and transportation environments. It features enhanced seal retention design with reduced diameter seals and a shrink boot adapter, enabling robust sealing against heavy vibration, dirt, chemicals, and water spray. The connector accepts contact size 16 rated for 13 amps and accommodates 14–20 AWG (2.50–0.50 mm²) wire gauges, with a rectangular thermoplastic housing and integrated latch for secure mating. The enhanced interface seal retention incorporates a groove on the connector housing to secure the interface seal, smaller ribs on a taller seal for secure fit, and compatibility with the W45-PO12 green wedgelock for contact alignment and retention. This design allows users to easily replace the seal without replacing the entire connector, reducing downtime and replacement costs. Common applications include power distribution, signal transmission, and load switching in vehicles, heavy equipment, and industrial control systems operating in demanding field conditions.
