DESCRIPTION

The DTM04-2P-E004 is a 2-position receptacle connector designed for SAE J1939/15 reduced physical layer 2-wire CAN systems consisting of an unshielded twisted pair of wires. This connector features a molded-in 120O terminating resistor rated at 0.4 watts and includes a black B-keyed wedgelock for secure mating and prevention of mis-mating in serial data communications networks. The connector accommodates size 20 contacts (solid or stamped & formed, gold-plated) and is engineered for use in electronic control unit (ECU) networks in industrial and commercial transportation applications. The DTM04-2P-E004 is commonly used as a terminating receptacle in CAN bus topologies where network termination is required to maintain signal integrity and reduce reflections in distributed ECU systems.
