DESCRIPTION

The W6P-P004 is a protective dust cap and lanyard assembly for DEUTSCH HD10 series connectors, providing environmental sealing to protect the connector interface when the connector is not mated. This assembly combines a gray dust cap with a nitrile or steel lanyard material, available in multiple cavity configurations (3, 6, or 9 cavities) for both plug and receptacle connector types. The lanyard is constructed with either nitrile o-ring with 3M heat shrink and thermoplastic adhesive or steel with specified breaking strength, offering secure tethering to prevent loss of the protective cap.
