DESCRIPTION
259-83-00400 is a pluggable busbar connector system designed for separable board-to-busbar and wire-to-busbar connections in power distribution applications. The connector features silver-plated copper alloy construction and is available in multiple configurations to mate with .125" (3.18 mm) or .062" (1.57 mm) thick plated busbars, with insertion lengths ranging from 0.650" (16.50 mm) minimum to 1.00" (25.40 mm) maximum. The system supports various current ratings up to 500A depending on configuration, with operating voltages of 12V or 48V, and is designed for applications including power shelves, battery backup unit (BBU) shelves, and IT trays. The connector family includes CROWN CLIP variants (single-pole and dual-pole configurations) and Dual CROWN CLIP feed-through designs, offering floating contact capability and misalignment tolerance for reliable hot-plug operation in server, storage, and network infrastructure environments.
