DESCRIPTION

The FTRA6971M6PBN-001 is a 5G Phantom omnidirectional antenna engineered for reliable connectivity across 617–7125 MHz frequency bands on vehicles and enclosures with fiberglass or plastic surfaces. This no ground plane model features rugged construction with optimized gain just above the horizon, delivering great circular gain with minimal ripple to reduce dead spots and nulls. The antenna achieves over 80% average efficiency and does not require mounting on a reflective metallic surface, making it ideal for applications where a small or non-existent ground plane would otherwise degrade performance. It is rated IP67 for indoor and outdoor use and complies with UL94 flammability standards. The integrated N connector provides impedance matching and avoids RF losses at high frequencies, while the direct mount design eliminates the need for external adapters. Common applications include mobile vehicles, fiberglass enclosures, and field deployments where traditional ground plane antennas would experience frequency shift and signal loss.
