DESCRIPTION

AS24R4E is a 4-amp solid-state single inline (SIP) relay designed for DC control of AC loads, featuring random turn-on switching capability. The relay operates with a control input range of 4–30 Vdc and an input current range of 2–30 mA, with an input resistance of 1000 ohms. The output stage supports AC loads from 12 to 275 Vrms with a maximum load current of 4 Arms, a peak voltage rating of 600 Vpeak with clamping at 450 Vpeak, and a maximum non-repetitive surge current of 100 Apeak. The relay features a rapid turn-on time of 0.1 ms (60 Hz), turn-off time of 8.3 ms, and an off-state leakage current of 0.3 mArms, with integral transient voltage protection and high dv/dt capability of 500 V/µs. Operating over a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C with input-output isolation of 4000 Vrms, the AS24R4E is ideal for interface applications, vending machines, light/lamp control, contactor drivers, fan speed control, and HVAC systems.
