DESCRIPTION

The AC501 is a cascadable amplifier in a TO-8 package, providing medium gain over a guaranteed 5 to 500 MHz frequency range. It delivers a typical small signal gain of 16.2 dB with a low noise figure of 2.1 dB and excellent gain flatness. Operating from a +15 Vdc supply, the device consumes a typical current of 10 mA and provides a minimum power output of -2.0 dBm at 1dB compression from 0 to 50 °C. With high reverse isolation and low SWR, the AC501 is well-suited as a general-purpose gain block in RF and IF signal chains.
