DESCRIPTION

The 57.504.0053.0 is a DIN rail terminal block designed for electrical installations with screw connection technology and integrated overvoltage protection. This selos-series terminal block accommodates connectable conductors from 14 to 10 AWG and is rated for 600V UL, providing a Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) of 100 kA when properly configured with appropriate fuses per UL 508A standards. The terminal block features green contacts and is manufactured by Wieland Electric to meet NEC 2005 Article 409.110 requirements for short-circuit resistance in industrial control panels. It is commonly used in control cabinet applications where increased flexibility and accuracy in SCCR determination are required, allowing for more precise installation qualification compared to default UL 508A values.
