DESCRIPTION

The CMC-5042PF-AC is an omnidirectional electret condenser microphone designed for compact audio capture in consumer and industrial applications. It features a 6.0 mm diameter aluminum housing with gold-plated solder pins, operating at a standard voltage of 2 Vdc with a maximum rating of 10 Vdc. The microphone delivers a sensitivity of -42 dB (typical) at 1 kHz and 1 Pa, with an output impedance of 2.2 kO and a signal-to-noise ratio of 56 dBA. It covers a frequency range of 100 Hz to 20 kHz with a maximum current consumption of 0.5 mA, and operates reliably across temperatures from -20°C to +70°C. This microphone is ideal for voice recording, communication devices, and audio monitoring systems where space constraints and low power consumption are important design considerations.
