DESCRIPTION

The M50100CC400 is a diode power module from the M50 series designed for high-surge current rectifier circuits in AC power applications. It delivers a maximum DC output current of 100 A at a case temperature of 85°C with a forward voltage drop of 1.2 V at 100 A peak, and operates across a junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The module features a maximum non-repetitive surge current of 1500 A (1/2 cycle, 60 Hz) and an I²t rating of 9350 A² sec for fusing protection, with a thermal resistance of 0.3°C/W from junction to ceramic base per chip. With up to 1600 V blocking capability and UL recognition (E72445), this module is ideal for industrial power conversion, motor control, and AC-to-DC rectification applications requiring robust surge handling and high reliability.
