DESCRIPTION

The P992-10-A is a silicon capacitive pressure sensor designed for low-pressure differential measurement in HVAC and combustion control applications. It operates on a 5 VDC ± 5% supply and provides a 0.25 to 4.0 VDC ratiometric output proportional to pressure, with internal temperature compensation ensuring accuracy across the operating range. The sensor features a 0–10 inches of H2O pressure range, ±2% accuracy (±3% for 0–1" range at 10°C to 40°C), and is rated for -10°C to +60°C operation with a storage range of -40°C to +95°C. It incorporates EMI/RFI and ESD protection, eliminates mounting position sensitivity, and is housed in a rugged PET 30% glass-reinforced flame-retardant package with a 1/8" diameter tube fitting for pressure connection. With a minimum 10-year shelf life and 10 million full-pressure-cycle operating life, the P992-10-A is ideal for variable air volume systems, filter pressure monitoring, duct airflow measurement, and modulated furnace controls.
