DESCRIPTION

DAS546632AA is a Weather Cap accessory designed for the VQ600 pellistor gas sensor series used in fixed gas detection systems. Constructed from 316 stainless steel, this cap protects the VQ600 sensing head from water ingress in external locations where rain or spray could interfere with safe operation, as well as in internal locations where water jets, sprays, or hoses are used routinely for cleaning. The cap has been tested to IP64 effectiveness rating to ensure reliable protection while maintaining the VQ600's performance characteristics. This accessory is essential for hazardous area installations requiring environmental protection without compromising sensor accuracy and response.
