The PW180KB4800N01 is a Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector and power supply designed to meet IEEE 802.3af compliance standards for midspan applications. It features a regulated 48VDC output (typical, ranging from 44V to 57V) with low ripple and noise characteristics, delivering a continuous output power of 15.4W minimum with output current capability of 350mAdc minimum to 400mA maximum. The unit employs a switching-mode fixed frequency flyback topology with universal input voltage acceptance from 100 to 250VAC, comprehensive protection including short circuit detection (400-450mA max), overload current detection with 50-75ms time limit, and dielectric withstand rating of 3,000VAC primary-secondary isolation. The desktop-style enclosure is constructed from black 94V0 polycarbonate with dual RJ45 jacks, weighs 170 grams, and meets international safety standards including UL60950-1, IEC/EN60950-1, and EMC regulations EN55022/55024/61000.
