DESCRIPTION

SS-60300-080 is a high-performance RJ45 Ethernet jack connector designed for 2.5G, 5G, and 10GBase-T applications with vertical (180°) orientation and no panel grounds configuration. The connector features a unique contact design that addresses crosstalk and return loss issues common in high-frequency RJ45 applications, with selectively plated contacts providing 50 micro-inches of gold plating for reliable signal transmission. It offers a compact footprint with the smallest available form factor, supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) requirements from 15W through 100W, and is RoHS compliant and IR reflow compatible. The connector is ideal for equipment designers requiring passive 10GBase-T Ethernet connectivity in space-constrained PCB applications where high electrical performance and reliability are critical.
