DESCRIPTION

The 164EL22 is a Command Series illuminated pushbutton switch featuring snap-acting double break contacts with gold plating over silver clad for reliable logic level and power switching. It provides 2 normally open and 2 normally closed contacts with momentary action, rated for 0.4 VA at 20 VDC or peak AC, and 5 A at 250 VAC or 24 VDC resistive load. The switch operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +50°C with an IP40 rating for non-oiltight applications, and achieves a life expectancy of 100,000 operations at rated current. The contacts are electrically independent and isolated from the lamp circuit, which uses a T1-3/4 midget flanged base lamp that is relampable from the front of the panel. This instrument-grade switch is ideal for control panels, instrumentation, and industrial applications requiring tactile feedback and visible status indication through illumination.
