DESCRIPTION

ADPA0404 is a 4-position DIP switch featuring a piano-style actuator with lever-up "on" configuration, designed for auto-insertable through-hole and surface mount applications. The switch utilizes a PPS-UL94V-0 base and cover with a PA6T-UL94V-0 white actuator, and incorporates copper alloy contacts with gold/nickel plating on the moving contact for reliable electrical performance. It operates across a temperature range of -30°C to +85°C, withstands solder heat resistance of 245°C ±5°C for 30 seconds, and supports a maximum switching rating of 100 mA at 24 VDC with a contact rating of 0.4 VA at 20 VDC. The switch features high-pressure wiping contacts allowing aqueous or solvent cleaning, gas-tight contacts, and an actuator travel of 1.30 mm at 25° with an operating force less than 800 grams and a life expectancy of 1,000 cycles. Common applications include industrial control panels, consumer electronics, and embedded systems requiring reliable configuration switching.
