DESCRIPTION

514-AG11F is an 8-position assembly socket designed for wirewrap interconnection applications. The socket features a thermoplastic polyester (P.B.T. or P.T.E.) insulator rated 94V-O with selectable wirewrap tail configurations available in three levels: 1/2 level (.260 tail), 2 level (.370 tail), and 3 level (.510 tail). Contact options include 25 micro-gold or 5 micro-gold 4-beam stamped contacts, with choices between gold contact and sleeve, gold contact with tin-lead sleeve, or tin-lead contact and sleeve configurations. This socket is commonly used in electronic assemblies requiring reliable wirewrap connections with flexible contact and tail length options to accommodate various circuit board designs and interconnection requirements.
