DESCRIPTION

The 609-1434ES is a universal ejection pin header connector designed for PCB applications requiring reliable mating and demating cycles. It features 14 positions arranged in a 2.54 x 2.54 mm matrix with vertical PCB mounting, center dual polarizing bars for military-grade polarization, and long-type latches for secure mating connector locking. The connector is housed in a 4-sided blue thermoplastic body with UL 94V-0 flammability rating and includes gold-plated contacts over nickel with gold flash over palladium nickel for superior corrosion resistance. With a 0.64 mm post size, 3.94 mm solder tail length, and tin-over-nickel plating on termination posts, this header is wave solder capable to 240°C, 260°C, and 265°C, making it suitable for automated assembly processes. The connector is RoHS and ELV compliant, ideal for industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and consumer electronics requiring robust interconnection solutions.
