DESCRIPTION

HSC3003R2J is an aluminium housed power resistor from the TE Connectivity HS Series, engineered for high-power dissipation in industrial applications including power supplies, power generation, and traction systems. The resistor delivers 350 watts dissipation at 25°C with a heatsink and 85 watts without one, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +200°C. It features a minimum ohmic value of 1.0 ohm and maximum of 100 kilohms, with a maximum working voltage of 2500 volts (DC or AC rms) and dielectric strength of 5000 volts (AC peak). The device incorporates an aluminium housing for rapid heat dissipation to a specified heatsink, with a standard heatsink area of 578,000 mm² and 3 mm thickness, mounted via 6 holes. With proven reliability over 50 years of design and manufacturing experience, this resistor is ideal for demanding applications requiring stable, high-quality power dissipation in limited space.
