DESCRIPTION

The 7940000235 is a ProPort panel interface designed to provide convenient access to an Ethernet network and AC power from the outside of a control cabinet. It features a field-side RJ45 CAT5 connector and a 120VAC outlet rated for a maximum of 5A, with a corresponding RJ45 bulkhead connector on the reverse side for internal cabinet connections. The unit is housed in a rugged, size 6 die-cast zinc enclosure with a hinged, gasketed cover that provides NEMA 4 (IP65) protection. This allows programming devices and computers to safely interface with equipment inside the cabinet without opening the door, making it ideal for industrial control applications.
