DESCRIPTION

The GPTCNH11 is a general purpose snap action switch designed for reliable switching applications requiring high operating force and precise actuation. It features a rugged phenolic case with gold over silver contacts for long life switching, and is rated for 15A at 250VAC under UL508 standards with VDE approval for screw terminals. The switch exhibits an operating force of 12.3 oz with a release force minimum of 4 oz, an ultra-small pretravel distance of 0.016 inches (0.41 mm), and an operating point range of 0.826 to 0.890 inches (20.98 to 22.60 mm). Key technical specifications include a dielectric strength of 1000 VAC at 50/60 Hz for 1 minute, insulation resistance of 100 megohms minimum at 500 VDC, and initial contact resistance of 15 milliohms maximum. The switch is constructed with beryllium copper springs, silver alloy contacts, and brass screw terminals, with mounting via US holes using #6-32 fasteners at 6.0 in-lb maximum torque. This switch is ideal for industrial control panels, appliance applications, and other demanding switching environments where reliability and precise actuation are critical.
