The 6715-RD005 is an 18 AWG tinned copper hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical interconnections in industrial and commercial applications. The conductor consists of 16/30 stranded tinned copper with a diameter of 0.048 inches, insulated with 0.0095 inches nominal wall thickness of modified polyphenylene ether material, resulting in an overall diameter of 0.067 ± 0.002 inches. The wire is rated for 600 V RMS at 105°C continuous operation and meets UL AWM/STYLE 11028 VW-1 and CSA C(RU) AWM I A/B FT1 standards, with halogen-free construction compliant with IEC 60332-2 flame behavior requirements. Electrical properties include a nominal inductance of 0.04 µH/ft and a conductor DC resistance of 7.1 O/1000 ft at 20°C, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and a maximum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter.
