DESCRIPTION

The 98424-G52-20ALF is a MINITEK vertical SMT header connector designed for compact board-to-board interconnections. It features 0.76 µm gold plating on contact areas with 2 µm minimum matte tin on tails, ensuring reliable electrical performance and corrosion resistance. The housing is constructed from high-temperature thermoplastic material (UL-94VO) rated for 260°C peak reflow temperature for 30 seconds maximum, with copper alloy terminals providing 7N minimum pin retention in either direction. The connector supports 20 positions in a vertical configuration with 2.00 mm pitch spacing and is available in standard cream color housing. This product is RoHS-compliant and lead-free, making it suitable for modern electronics manufacturing, telecommunications equipment, and industrial control systems requiring reliable high-density interconnections.
