DESCRIPTION

M85049/49-2-14N is a QPL strain relief clamp backshell designed for use with circular connectors in demanding environments. This straight-configuration backshell features aluminum alloy and stainless steel construction with spin coupling for secure cable termination. The accessory shell size 14 provides a cable opening diameter (A) of 0.875 inch (22.23 mm) maximum and dimension B of 1.094 inch (27.8 mm) maximum. Available finish options include electroless nickel (N), cadmium olive drab over electroless nickel (W), and black zinc nickel (Z). This backshell is commonly used in military, aerospace, and industrial applications where strain relief and environmental protection at the connector termination area are required.
