DESCRIPTION

The AWM-8S is an 8-position ATM Series™ heavy-duty multi-pin connector designed for demanding industrial interconnect applications. It features an integrated latching system with IP68 and IP69K ratings (in mated condition), supporting a maximum current of 7.5A and voltage rating of 250V. The connector housing is constructed from thermoplastic material (UL94-VO) with excellent UV resistance and superior environmental seals, while contacts are made from copper alloy with nickel plating for reliable electrical connections. Operating over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with silicone elastomer sealing, the connector achieves minimum insulation resistance of 1000 megohms and withstands shock loads of 50g in all three axes. The AWM-8S is ideal for marine, heavy equipment, agricultural, automotive, and alternative energy applications where robust, sealed connections are essential.
