DESCRIPTION

The 9501-060100 is a multi-conductor computer cable designed for EIA RS-232 serial communication applications. It features 1 twisted pair of 24 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors with semi-rigid PVC insulation, an overall Beldfoil shield (100% aluminum foil-polyester tape coverage), and a 24 AWG stranded tinned copper drain wire, all enclosed in a PVC jacket. The cable has a nominal overall diameter of 0.156 inches, characteristic impedance of 75 ohms, and is rated for 300 V RMS (UL AWM Style 2464) with a maximum recommended current of 2.2 amps per conductor at 25°C. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -30°C to +80°C and is compliant with UL, CSA, RoHS, and CE standards. This cable is ideal for connecting serial devices such as modems, printers, and industrial equipment where reliable data transmission and EMI shielding are required.
