DESCRIPTION
The 79-1409-15-04 is an M9 male cable connector from the series 702 designed for industrial control and plant engineering applications requiring sealed, shielded connectivity. It features 4 gold-plated brass contacts with a straight pin configuration, screw-type locking system, and is moulded directly onto a 5 m PUR (polyurethane) cable with 5 × 0.25 mm² cross-section. The connector is rated for 125 V, 3.0 A per contact, with 1500 V rated impulse voltage and insulation resistance = 10¹° O, providing robust EMC shielding via connection on the threaded ring. Operating temperature ranges from -50 °C to +90 °C (fixed cable) or -25 °C to +90 °C (moving cable), with bending radius specifications of = 5× diameter (fixed) and = 10× diameter (moving), supporting over 2 million bending cycles.
