DESCRIPTION

10-4202 is a liquid solder flux formulated for professional soldering applications in electrical and electronic assembly. The product is a mixture of isopropanol (50–65%) and rosin (40–50%), designed to facilitate solder wetting and joint formation. It exhibits a boiling point of 82 °C (180 °F), a flash point of 18 °C (64 °F), and a density of 0.88 g/cm³ at 20 °C (68 °F), with a vapor pressure of 43 hPa at the same temperature. The flux has an amber color with an alcohol-like odor and is partly miscible with water, containing 522 g/L of volatile organic compounds (VOC). This product is widely used in soldering operations where reliable flux performance and proper solder flow are essential for creating quality electrical connections.
