DESCRIPTION

MS3101F14S-2S is a circular MIL-DTL 5015 connector featuring a socket gender with threaded coupling and box mounting receptacle configuration. It accommodates 4 contacts of size 16S with soldier cup contact type and hard silver plating, delivering a contact rating of 22 A at +20°C with a contact resistance of 6 mO. The connector operates over an ambient temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, withstands a test voltage of 1050 Vrms, and maintains insulator resistance greater than 1000 MO. It is rated for 500 minimum mating cycles, features a coupling torque of 3.6 Nm maximum for closing and 0.35 Nm minimum for opening, and provides IP65 protection with 500 hours salt spray resistance. The aluminum alloy shell with olive drab chromate coating over cadmium plating and neoprene insulator material make it suitable for demanding military and industrial applications requiring reliable high-current connections.
