DESCRIPTION

The MS3102R14S-6S is a box-mounting circular receptacle connector with threaded coupling, designed for reliable electrical connections in military and aerospace applications. It features 6 contacts of size 16S with hard silver plating and solder cup termination, rated for 22 A per contact at +20 °C with a contact resistance of 6 mO. The connector is constructed from aluminum alloy shell with olive drab chromate coating over cadmium plating, neoprene insulator and grommet material, and copper alloy contacts, providing excellent corrosion resistance with 500 hours salt spray resistance. Operating across -55 °C to +125 °C with 1050 Vrms test voltage, insulation resistance exceeding 1000 MO, and IP65 sealing protection, this connector delivers robust performance in harsh environments. It supports 500 minimum mating cycles with a contact retention force of 35 N and separation force of 1.0 N per contact, making it ideal for military vehicles, aircraft, and industrial equipment requiring secure, high-reliability connections.
