DESCRIPTION

The 2979485 is a VARIOFACE output module that integrates eight pluggable miniature relays for signal switching. It operates on a nominal input voltage of 24 V DC with a typical input current of 23 mA per channel. Each of the eight channels features a single pole double throw (1 PDT) AgCdO contact. The module provides a typical response time of 9 ms and a release time of 10 ms, with integrated free-wheeling and damping diodes for protection. Connectivity is provided via a flat-ribbon cable plug connector for the coil side and screw connections for the contact side, making it suitable for interfacing in industrial control cabinets.
