DESCRIPTION

The 2981525 is a single-channel contact extension module with a TBUS interface, designed to expand safety circuits. It provides four normally open (N/O) enabling current paths, one normally closed (N/C) signaling path, and one confirmation current path, all with an adjustable dropout delay from 0.5 to 30 seconds. Operating on a nominal 24V DC input, this module features plug-in spring-cage terminal blocks for easy connection and has a compact width of 22.5 mm. It meets high safety standards, including Category 3 and Performance Level d (PL d) according to EN ISO 13849 and SIL 3 according to IEC 61508, making it suitable for demanding safety applications.
