DESCRIPTION

The MTJ-883X1 is a modular telephone jack featuring 8P8C (8 position, 8 contact) configuration designed for top entry PCB mounting. It utilizes a PBT insulator rated UL 94V-0 with black color and phosphor bronze contacts of 0.017" diameter, gold-plated over a 50 µin nickel underplate. The connector is rated for 125 VAC maximum operating voltage with a current rating of 1.5 Amps maximum, contact resistance of 20 mohms maximum, and insulation resistance of 1,000 Mohms minimum at 500 VDC. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C, and the product is RoHS compliant and lead-free. This connector is ideal for telecommunications equipment, networking devices, and other applications requiring reliable modular jack connectivity with high contact integrity.
