6710-BK005 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical interconnections in industrial and electronic applications. The wire features a 28 AWG (7/36) tinned copper conductor with a 0.0095 inch nominal wall of modified polyphenylene ether insulation, providing an overall diameter of 0.034 ± 0.002 inches. It is rated for 600 VRMS at 105°C and meets UL AWM/STYLE 11028 VW-1 and CSA C(RU) AWM I A/B FT1 specifications, with halogen-free construction compliant with IEC 60332-2 flame behavior standards. The wire operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, with a maximum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter and a maximum pull tension of 1.37 lbs.
