DESCRIPTION

The 6710-BR001 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical applications requiring reliable insulation and flame resistance. It features a 28 AWG (7/36) tinned copper conductor with a 0.0095 inch nominal wall of modified polyphenylene ether insulation, providing an outer diameter of 0.034 ± 0.002 inches. The wire is rated for 600 V RMS at 105°C and meets UL AWM/STYLE 11028 VW-1 and CSA C(RU) AWM I A/B FT1 specifications, with halogen-free construction and compliance with IEC 60332-2 flame behavior standards. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C with a maximum pull tension of 1.37 lbs and a minimum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter. This wire is ideal for internal wiring in electronic equipment, control circuits, and applications where flame resistance and environmental compliance are required.
