DESCRIPTION

6710-RD001 is a halogen-free single conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical connections. It features a 28 AWG (7/36) tinned copper conductor with a nominal diameter of 0.015 inches and modified polyphenylene ether insulation with a 0.0095" wall thickness, resulting in an overall insulation diameter of 0.034 ± 0.002 inches. The wire is rated for 600 VRMS with an operating temperature range of -40 to 105°C, and meets UL AWM/STYLE 11028 (VW-1) and CSA International C(RU) AWM I A/B FT1 certifications. Electrical properties include a nominal inductance of 0.06 µH/ft and conductor DC resistance of 65 O/1000ft at 20°C. This RoHS-compliant wire is suitable for applications requiring halogen-free materials and compliance with IEC 60332-2 flame behavior standards.
