DESCRIPTION

The 6718-VI005 is a single-conductor 12 AWG hookup wire manufactured by Alpha Wire, designed for general-purpose electrical interconnections in industrial and commercial applications. The wire features a tinned copper conductor with a 0.012-inch wall of modified polyphenylene ether insulation, providing a nominal outer diameter of 0.117 inches. It is rated for 600V RMS at temperatures up to 105°C and meets UL AWM/STYLE 11028 and VW-1 flame ratings, as well as CSA C(RU) AWM I A/B FT1 certifications. The wire operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C with a maximum pull tension of 51 lbs and a minimum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter. This halogen-free, RoHS-compliant wire is ideal for control circuits, instrumentation, and general wiring applications where flame resistance and environmental compliance are required.
