DESCRIPTION

The AZ970E-1A-12D is a 45 A automotive relay designed for high-inrush switching applications in compact form factor. It features a 12 VDC nominal coil with 8.4 VDC must-operate voltage and 21.3 VDC maximum continuous rating, with a coil resistance of 90.0 O (±10%). The relay provides Form A (SPST) contact configuration with a maximum switched current of 45 A and maximum switched power of 560 W at 150 VDC maximum switched voltage. Operating characteristics include a 5 ms typical operate time and 3 ms typical release time at nominal coil voltage, with a minimum life expectancy of 5×106 operations. The relay operates across -40°C to +125°C ambient temperature range, withstands 0.062" displacement amplitude vibration at 10–55 Hz and 10 g shock, and is housed in a P.B.T. polyester enclosure with tinned copper alloy terminals. This relay is ideal for automotive electrical systems requiring reliable high-current switching with vibration and shock resistance.
