DESCRIPTION

The AZ979-1C-24DE is an 80 Amp Mini-ISO automotive relay designed for high-current switching applications in automotive systems. This SPDT (1 Form C) relay features an 80 Amp contact rating with a high momentary carry current of 500 A, silver tin oxide contacts with less than 50 milliohms initial resistance, and a maximum switched voltage of 30 VDC. The relay operates at a nominal coil voltage of 24 VDC with a must-operate voltage of 15.6 VDC and maximum continuous voltage of 37.9 VDC, delivering 0.76 W at pickup and 3.0 W maximum continuous dissipation. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, mechanical life expectancy of 1×107 operations, and electrical life of 1×105 operations at 80 A and 14 VDC, this relay is ideal for automotive control systems, power distribution, and load switching applications requiring robust, reliable performance in demanding environments.
