DESCRIPTION

The 68898-001LF is a 6-position horizontal modular jack connector assembly designed for PCB mounting applications. It features all positions loaded with 5 micron gold plating plus high-performance lubricant contact finish, a black housing with mounting ears, and is lead-free compliant. The connector has a maximum board thickness tolerance of 1.60 mm minimum for wave solder applications and can withstand peak temperatures of 260°C for 10 seconds. This modular jack is commonly used in telecommunications, networking, and industrial control systems where reliable signal transmission and mechanical durability are required.
