DESCRIPTION

The 98424-G52-20LF is a MINITEK vertical SMT header connector designed for compact, high-density interconnect applications. It features 0.76 µm gold plating on contact areas with 2 µm minimum matte tin on tails, ensuring reliable electrical performance and solderability. The connector utilizes high-temperature thermoplastic UL-94VO housing material with copper alloy terminals, providing robust mechanical retention of 7N minimum in either direction. The housing withstands reflow oven exposure at 260°C peak temperature for 30 seconds maximum, making it compatible with modern surface-mount assembly processes. This connector is ideal for consumer electronics, industrial control systems, and telecommunications equipment where space efficiency and reliable signal transmission are critical.
